The Trenhotel night train is known for its luxury and connects many of Spain's big cities, including Barcelona, and Madrid. This train allows you to make long journeys overnight and travel in a great variety of sleeping accommodations.

The domestic Trenhotel has 4 lines going from Barcelona and Madrid to several destinations in the northwest of Spain. 

The Trenhotel domestic night train runs on the following routes:

Barcelona - Vigo (train number 921/922)

  • Via Zaragoza and León

 

Barcelona - A Coruña (train number 921/922)

  • Via Zaragoza and León

 

Madrid - Pentevedra (train number 851/852)

  • Via León and Vigo

 

Madrid - Ferrol (train number 751/752)

  • Via León and A Coruña

Reservations

Reservations on the Trenhotel night trains are compulsory. We recommend you make your reservations as far in advance as possible. For Trenhotel night trains you can book your seat or accommodation up to 3 months in advance

 

How to make reservations for the Trenhotel

You can reserve your seat or sleeping accommodation on the Trenhotel in the following ways:

  • At the train station. Keep in mind that trains can become full during busy times.

     

Please note that children under 4 require a (free) ticket to travel on this train. This ticket can be obtained from a RENFE point of sale at all major train stations in Spain.
