    From Barcelona, a direct train travels south along the coastline to Valencia. The journey will only take you 3 hours and 15 minutes.

    3. Seville, Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán Stadium

    Sevilla FC is the most successful football club in the Andalusia region. They won the UEFA Europa League five times, with three consecutive wins in 2014, 2015 and 2016. Their home stadium is of great value to the Spanish - never has their national team lost a match here!

    Take a direct train from Valencia to Seville in the southwest. The journey through Spain's interior will take around 4 hours.

    4. Madrid, Santiago Bernabéu Stadium

    Madrid is located in the heart of Spain and is easy to reach by train. From Seville, a direct train will take you there in 2 hours and 30 minutes.

    The proud capital of Basque Country is home to Athletic Bilbao, nicknamed 'The Lions'. The club has a unique policy: all players have to be native of Basque Country or trained there. Athletic is a founder of the Primera División, together with Real Madrid and FC Barcelona.

    Take a direct train from Madrid to port city Bilbao on the Atlantic Coast. The journey will take you just over 5 hours.
